Dance and fitness has been apart of me since my youth; from ballet, tap, and jazz as a child; to line dancing, kickboxing, dance classes, and high intensity interval training as an adult. Exercise has kept me grounded and help to manage the sometimes stressful demands of being an educator. Life challenges has taught me that fitness is the key to a healthier me, both physically and mentally. Unsatisfied with my overall health and well being, I began a journey of weight loss transformation. This journey led me to becoming a certified group fitness instructor. AfroCardio was birthed as a result of teaching and creating Afro centric dance fitness moves and routines when I decided to create my own fitness brand. AfroCardio is a total body workout that uses cardio training dance moves to shred your core, strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, while incorporating some culturally accurate African Dance moves done to Afro Beats/Drum Beats/Hip Hop/ Dance Hall.

Afro Beats and Eats is where health and wellness meets fitness and culture! This dynamic one of a kind Afro Beat/ Afro Dance Fitness Workshop breaks down my signature AfroCardio dance moves in a simple to follow workshop format with opportunities to practice the moves.
